The Freedom of Indifference

Most people aren’t thinking about you the way you think they are.

They’re thinking about their own deadlines.

Their relationships.

Their problems.

Their next move.

They notice you.

They move on.

They’re indifferent.

That idea can feel uncomfortable.

But that indifference is freeing.

You’ll never be able to adjust yourself enough for every lens in the room to capture the real you. Everyone sees you through their own perspective anyway.

So stop trying.

Be yourself.

People are indifferent to you.

In that indifference, you’ll find freedom.

The freedom to be yourself without fear of judgment.

That’s leadership.

It starts by leading yourself.
